MedVoice PR is proud to announce our new partnership with Dress for Success Austin (DFSA). The local nonprofit transforms lives with an all-in-one solution to help women secure gainful employment and advancement through career and image consulting.
“We are thrilled to provide public relations efforts to help raise awareness about the incredible services they offer to women in the Central Texas community,” said Emily Schmitz, MedVoice PR’s founder. Ms. Schmitz has personally served as a volunteer for DFSA, as well as other charitable organizations and nonprofits in Austin.
The goal of Dress for Success Austin is to empower women to achieve their own economic independence via a network of career counselors and mentors, professional attire and other developmental tools to help them succeed both in-- and outside of-- their job. Simply put, Dress for Success Austin support extends far beyond just the “suit” outfitting their clients.
While in-person services are temporarily on hold at their boutique and career center due to COVID-19, they still offer support such as virtual career coaching and professional women’s groups, clothing package pick-ups, and online connections for women who have served our country through the Texas Veterans Commission.
“We’re excited to help promote their expanded scope of services to women in Central Texas. This includes serving women of all financial backgrounds and a newly created mentorship program and networking professional women’s group,” explained Schmitz.
As always, all Dress for Success Austin services are provided at no expense to the client or the associated referral agencies seeking these talented individuals. Since 2003, Dress for Success Austin has supported and served over 16,000 women in Central Texas through referrals from 90+ non-profit and government agencies.
